CRX CarbonBank Official Launch, 7 Dec 2015, Paris COP21/SIF15

#COP21 and #SIF15 saw the official launch of the CRX CarbonBank on Dec 7-8 in Stad De France – Paris. CEO Vinod Kesava, delivered a speech on driving a global economy of resilience and self-reliance. Within a week of the launch, there was a surge of carbon offsets on the platform rising to 300 million tons in total and an exponential increase in the number of buyer members. We expect this to be a predictor for renewed price discovery for the emission reductions market, globally. We say do away with permits to pollute and increase the number of projects that actually reduce emissions.

July 2015: Ongoing talk at the SEAS/ADB/World Bank event

“Our Co-Founder and CEO, Vinod was requested to participate and contribute to this workshop that was organized by SEAS and ADB and supported by IE Singapore. The focus of the 5 days workshop, starting July 27 and ending July 31 2015 is to enable the delegates, represented by various developing countries in the Asia Pacific, with various tools to establish better methodologies in implementing sustainable economic growth through the proper use of strategic resources such as energy and water. It was therefore envisaged by the organisers and supporters and sponsors, that this workshop should achieve an objective of dealing with issues of climate change by ensuring that policies of energy efficiency, renewable sources and access to electricity and clean water (resources) be achieved.

On the first day, Vinod presented a compelling case and various options for thinking holistically through the Integrative Design Process. In other words, we can use holistic engineering principles for achieving better resource efficiency. Therefore the meeting of minds and the collaboration of ideas with the various governance disciplines of implementing policies, i.e. human resource efficiency with the various delegates respective countries that have different ideals and goals to meet. Through the principles of the Blue Economy, even waste can be treated as a resource with a possibility of producing opportunities for socio-economic growth. The end game is to ensure that various countries, economies and different policies can assist each other in better collaboration as we all become a single global community. People have the power and so let us ensure that we create the correct performance metrics for them to be able to use as generations of people and ideals change.

CRX envisions the world as a better place where everyone can measure their contribution through both ideas and resources with a single market place, through un-debatable metrics that will link the disparity of what is today envisioned as “true or not true” or even as “accurate or not accurate”. As the internet has shown us, let us all strive towards a global nation of combined ideas and interests that prevent or avoid conflict through the through the true understanding of a confluence of the natural species of this planet.”
